You can get a quick answer to most questions by simply typing a query into Google. For example, here if you simply type in the words "order of saddle club books" you will get links to, inter alia, goodreads and wikipedia which answer your question.

>2 JackieCarroll:; >3 nemoman: The OP's asking in what chronological order the events of the super series editions occur, not their publication date order. The suggestions provided don't answer her question; they just list the books in the series.
It's pretty common for super series books to describe events that occur outside of the main series' timeline or to expand on past or future events referenced in the main series. E.g., if Arthur Conan Doyle still were alive, he might have created a super edition about the giant rat of Sumatra.
>1 Lesley8000: You might try posting on the Jane Badger Books forum. She's a good source for pony and horse juvenile fiction.
I've cross-posted your inquiry in another group on LT, Name that book. There are a couple of pony and horse fiction fans active in that group.

>4 LibraryPerilous: You are correct. I did not read the post closely enough.

Thanks for straightening us out, Diane. I don't think I've ever encountered super series books.

Hi there Lesley8000!
I am in the process of doing a complete Saddle Club series read through, and I just reached the last Super Edition. When I went looking for how the Super Editions fit in with the main series, the only thing I could find was your post. I decided to do some sleuthing and make some notes and I can now give you the answer to your question! I know you posted this 10 years ago, but I hope it's still important to you and that you see this!
Super Edition 1 A Summer Without Horses:
between 035 Horse Tale and 036 Riding lesson
Super Edition 2 The Secret of the Stallion:
between 046 Flying Horse and 047 Horse Magic
Super Edition 3 Western Star:
between 048 Mystery Ride and 049 Stable Farewell
Super Edition 4 Dream Horse:
between 056 Cutting Horse and 057 Tight Rein
Super Edition 5 Before They Rode Horses:
between 064 Horse Capades and 065 Silver Stirrups
(I noticed for this one you suggested it was 066 that came after this book, but Maxi is born in Super Edition 5, and she is mentioned as already being born in book 065, so this must be the book that comes after Super Edition 5).
Super Edition 6 Nightmare:
between 070 Horse Race and 071 Horse Talk
Super Edition 7 Christmas Treasure:
between 084 Schooling Horse and 085 Horse Fever
It's worth noting there are some serious timeline errors with the series. Super Edition 2 doesn't actually fit anywhere! It's supposed to take place the Summer after 029 Ranch Hands, but it can't because Belle is mentioned in the book (Stevie got Belle in 040 Gift Horse) and there is a whole extra summer in there between 029 and 040! Super Edition 1 has similar timeline issues. So I've done my best, but the timeline is inherently not possible in a few places. If you want all my notes about how I placed each book (all the way from, 'it literally said so in the book', to some serious sleuth work!) let me know.
Yours sincerely, a Saddle Club enthusiast :)
