I love the artwork in this book. It brings back great memories and thought this would be a great gift for my husband. We are of that age, after all. It would be fun to work these puzzles but it came to me as an e-book, and I currently have no way to print the puzzles. Perhaps I should have downloaded it to my table, instead of the computer. At least then I could have used my stylus to circle letters on the screen. ( )

I am not a senior. I am a millennial, but I enjoy history, especially the 50's. While you are not going to learn anything earth shatteringly new here, some of the facts were unknown to me. All were interesting and heartwarming. There are lots of word searches and a few trivia questions. The answers are in the back if you get stuck. If you get a print version of this book, a lot of the art work could also double as some really cool coloring pages since they are all black and white! Thank you to Purple Moon Publishing for letting me review this work. ( )

1950s Activity Book for Seniors has value in its use of key moments that took place in 1950s America. Using those moments to craft short trivia questions and crossword puzzles. Although the facts are easy and simple cliff-notes, it could be a cozy afternoon activity for seniors and readers of all ages as it not very challenging. With that said, I struggled with the lack of diversity and missing historical context to most of the info-snippets provided in this book as it excludes a large portion of the population both past and present from being able to connect and enjoy this book.
