This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.
A really interesting look at post apocalyptic worlds. Interwoven of the story of Liv, are a few other stories that tie the world together. This world building is helpful for thinking of the characters holistically, but the story itself does feel a bit mixed up, and hard to keep track of everything, but but not too badly. The dialog is amazingly written: I mean who else comes out with:

“Your personhood is not the point at issue here. You have been brought here as evidence, not as a witness. You will be quiet.”

I would say my favourite story is on the grandma and the dog, but it isn’t difficult to like a story about dogs. ( )
