Relatively simple, easy to read. However, from a Christian perspective, this book is too denominationally affiliated to be useful in an ecumenical way. I would not read this to my child to learn ABC's. A couple specific examples:

-it is clearly from a Pentecostal background--giving children instruction to speak in tongues as evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Certainly a valid belief system, but (in my opinion) a children's book is not the place for that theology
-Could do without the white Jesus
-An Israeli flag is weird. If we are talking "Bible ABCs" you can use Israel without having the flag--Israel was a person before it was a nation, and it was a nation for several thousand years before it had a flag

There are other examples, but that's enough for a review. I think it would probably be fine for many people, but if I am going to try to teach my kids the ABCs using the Bible, I wouldn't put so many theologically questionable things in there. I would stick to simple things, for instance "A is for Adam. Adam was the first human God created."

Good effort, but this one will be a pass for me. ( )

This is an easy to follow alphabet book for young Christian families and their children. I would recommend this more for Pentecostal families as some of the prayers at the end do refer to speaking in tongues. Overall the book is a nice addition to any children’s library and also includes helpful resources at the end. Thank you for the ARC in exchange for my honest review! ( )
