Once again, a very hectic year for me in 2022, so I didn't finish 50 books. However, I'm aiming to work even less in 2023 than I have been AND my little terrier is finally maturing and is calm and resting in the evenings now, so I very much hope to get more reading in. I have literally stacks of books in various rooms in my house that I want to read, so I hope to make inroads in my TBR list this year.

Another person who can relate to TBR stacks here. May you have better luck catching up that I've had!

Yes, I think we all have TBR stacks that never seem to get smaller. :) Happy reading!

Well, not tooo bad of a start for 2023, though the first one read was more of a novella than a full novel.
1. Kate Shackleton's First Case by Frances Brody
2. The Rising Tide by Ann Cleeves

I'm obviously not going to get 50 books read this year, as I've hardly read anything all summer and now into the fall. #24 The lover, the lake by Virginia Pesemapeo Bordeleau

Actually finished 2 books in the last week or two!
#26 My book club selection for November was The Christie Affair by Nina de Gramont. Having been an Agatha Christie fan since my early teens, I really enjoyed this little mystery within a mystery. Not as well crafted as an Agatha Christie novel would have been, but clever and entertaining nonetheless.
#27 A big disappointment-I've been nearly 2 months trying to finish this one. The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James.
