Texas venue showing up on the south side of Chicago

Cornette Library, in Canyon, Texas, is showing on my Local list. But I'm on the south side of Chicago.

Same problem here, I have a venue from Alberta, Canada showing up in my local list in Washington DC

I notice that both offending venues have an intersection (indicated either with "and" or an ampersand) in their addresses, which may be a place to start.

Changing it to the real street address fixed it.

>5 kristilabrie: One example was manually changed but there is still the bug that venues are showing up the wrong distance away just because there is an "and" or "&" in the address, even though they show up in the correct place on the map. Marigold Library System - Carbon Public Library* is still showing up as 1.6 miles away from me in the DC area, for no discernible reason. And it's very possible that there are more than just these two venues with this issue, so if the solution is to manually change the address of each one, they would all need to be found.

Are the same bookstore, with the name of the first being inaccurate. There are lots of Thalia bookstores in Vienna.

>6 norabelle414: It occurred to me that Little Libraries often have intersections as their address because they don't have real addresses, and sure enough, there are several Little Libraries listed as near me that are in Louisiana, Philadelphia, and southwest Virginia.
