I love Space Opera so I volunteer to host the month of March with that topic. For those who read Fantasy we could add in the theme of Travels/Quests.

I'll volunteer for April, and the theme of time travel.
7Robertgreaves
Idea for a topic - past futures, books where the setting was the future when it was written but is now the present or past, e.g,, 2001 A Space Odyssey (written 1968, set 2001) or Stand on Zanzibar (written 1968, set 2012)
9christina_reads
I'd love to host a theme of sword & sorcery/epic fantasy. Happy to take January if no one else wants it!
10majkia
I'll volunteer for May and do archaeology in space and at home. Yes, I'm an Indiana Jones groupie.
12whitewavedarling
Could I do monsters in June?
15majkia
> yeah, I think mythology and gods go together, unless someone wants to do a restricted mythology month.
17MissBrangwen
I will take December with "bookish fantasy" - stories involving magic books, enchanted libraries, traveling to other worlds through books etc.
18majkia
>17 MissBrangwen: oh, sounds good!
20susanna.fraser
I'll take October with a theme of women authors, if folks are OK with that as a theme.
21majkia
>20 susanna.fraser: Great theme!
22amberwitch
If no-one else is interested, I'll do August with paranormal/space detectives.

>22 amberwitch: Great! LOL. Love the title.

Shouldn’t this thread be pinned like the other planning discussions?
