December Reading - What Are Your Favourites?

What is your favourite reading material during December. If you read any seasonal books what are your favourite books or just reads?

Hullo Andrew and Happy Holidays!

I very much enjoyed a book that took me a while to read called The Secrets We Kept. The premise is the women who worked for The Company (i.e., the CIA) during the 1950's and how the book "Dr. Zhivago" eventually got published. It happened outside of the USSR and while it takes place on 2 separate continents with different POV's, they are divided into different parts (East and West) with the timelines being similar.

Learned a lot from this book and that's always a plus.

Almost no one reads the genera that I read...at least not on most of the groups here... so I will list the December books that I gave 5 stars. The Innocent Wife - Lisa Regan; The Haunting on West 10th Street- Helen Phifer; Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six - Lisa Unger- The Burning Girls - C.J. Tudor

and I’m really liking Foster by Claire Keegan that l hope to finish by midnight!

I very much enjoyed The Secrets We Kept and also just finished My Effin' Life by Geddy Lee. Sometimes, one's rock star heroes are honest enough to continue to be heroes in real life.
