Hi all! Sorry I've been "missing in action". My father passed late December and my mother has taken it really badly. In and out of hospital with chest pain. Thankfully though now, she is starting to settle down.
Roll on the rest of the year!

So for the first quarter of the year I have read-
Knitalong
The Good Mother
The Island Adventure
The Payback Adventure
Shine a Light

In total 5 books.

Thank you all for the welcome back. :+}

Wishing everyone a wonderful April, with lots of reading!

>18 connie53: Hi Connie, haven't been here for while, because of lets say" interesting" things with Mum. That has left me with either no time to read or not interested to read.{ No mojo....}:+{

Have picked out a book to read this month though! Let's see how I go!

Happy reading Connie! :+}

Hi Lady B. So sorry to read this. Mum things can be difficult and hard to deal with. I would probably not feel like reading too. I hope you are doing better with the book you choose for August.

Update for October.0 books
Last 2 books read was back in May and they were:
1984
and
A Monk's Guide to a Clean House and Mind
Nothing since then.. :+{

My mother has continued to "be interesting"...Every month more so.. - I'm not looking forward to December because of Dad's death.

I have also decided to formally quit this challenge. I vowed at the beginning of the month to read Magic Lessons but haven't had time or the brain space to crack the cover.

And I would like to say "Wishing you all a wonderful holiday!!And happy reading!!"

My condolences Lady B. I live with my parents and 95-year-old grandmother, and she tends to "get interesting" when reminded of mortality. I understand how emotionally taxing that situation can be. My inbox is open if you would like to vent.
