Lessons In Chemistry is a bestseller for a reason; it is an interesting setting for a story, with well-drawn characters.

Season of Storms is from a favorite author, and did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

You Know Her was a bit of a dark horse - this is a crime genre that I don't usually read a lot of, but the author did an exceptional job with the unreliable narrator and with unfolding the mystery very well.

Honorable Mention:
The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah is quite good for a debut author. It feels like she read Mistborn to learn how to write character development, and then read The Daevabad Trilogy for the setting, and mixed the two together, to good effect.
