SqueakyChu just *might* read some Big Fat Books in 2024

Hi Folks!

I only read one BFB in 2023. Maybe...just maybe...I might be able to top that in 2024, although now I'm trying to read some shorter books because my book count total has been falling over the years. We'll just have to wait to see how I do!

Well, I'm reading one now! I tried to avoid it, but I just couldn't. The book is Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson. I really don't care for Musk, but I am in awe of the author Walter Isaacson. I am actually thrilled to be reading another book he wrote. I saw the book, thought that I couldn't read a book about Musk, figured I'd take it home (it was on the new book shelf of my local library), and later decide what to do. The previous book I read by Isaacson was Steve Jobs, which was so well written. And, actually, the book about Musk I now find fascinating.

>11 SqueakyChu: Oh now I'm curious - has your opinion of Musk changed? I'm not a fan either.

I'm not going to like Musk any better. I've read about 100 pages. He is very bright, but not a nice person at all. I'm glad I don't have to deal with him in real life. Plus I refuse to use X any more although I had enjoyed using Twitter very much for many years.
