I have had a soft spot for Tara Books for some years. They are beautifully hand-made books that are works of art in themselves with innovative designs, printed on unusual quality paper, often cover very different topics, are limited editions, come in a slipcase and are very reasonably priced with low shipping costs.























































Other Tara Books in my library include The Night Life of Trees, A Stitch Out of Time, Antigone, The Deep, Hippolytos and Oedipus the King.

Not to steal your thunder, but as I, too, am a fan of Tara Books, I thought folks might like to see a bit more of one of them, so here's a link to my review of Hippolytos from 2020. Dang! Was it that long ago?

Thank you for your pictorial review. I bought the book after reading about it on this forum and just love how creative Tara were with it. And that's after already being impressed by several of their previous titles.

Unless otherwise indicated, all the Handmade series are 'silkscreen-printed on paper recycled from cotton waste'.

BTW, Seed is now Out of Stock! If this is correct, the sale of this title was significantly quicker compared to The Deep, which was published in Jan 2020 and offered for a 20% discount with the artists' signature in May 2022!

ETA: Seed is back IN STOCK - probably a temporary error while they worked on removing the 15% inaugural discount.
