I would love to see Mark Cuban as the VP candidate on a Kamala Harris for President ticket!
Sorkin had the right idea, but the VP spot should be the one covered by an outsider. In this crazy era, it is think-out-of-the-box time. Like Trump, Mark has been a well-known TV personality for many moons ~ he would come to the contest with a ready-made base. And he is a very smart, rational dude.

>3 JGL53: Would you be interested in sharing some of your reasoning? I mean, clearly you're so much smarter than everyone else, so it would be a kindness to reach down and help the rest of us take a step or two towards the pinnacles of analysis and rhetoric that you occupy.

If I or, in contrast, any one of the lessor people on earth should actually condescend to try to explain to you WHY Mark Rubin would NEVER be considered for a V.P. nomination by Harris then we would all be foolishly wasting the time and energy of
any and all primates so engaged. I should say it obviously would be like trying to explain integral calculus to a member of a non-human species, e.g., a porcine, a bovine, a canine, a feline, an equine, a serpentine, an ovine, a simian, or an (most appropriately) asinine.
So I'm not going to do that.
Sorry to leave you hanging.

Cats are alien beings? Possible but extremely hard to prove, one way or another, IMO - truly an agnostic category at this juncture.
Do you "own" a cat, davidgn? If so, then be extra nice to him/her today and tell him/her I advised you to do so. Also tell him/her there are many humans, including me, who would gladly vote for him/her for President of the United States, if our only other choice was the Orange Turd.
If he/she is indeed an alien then he/she will hopefully be flattered and, when the cat aliens shift-shape back to their true form and take over the earth they will let you and me live as house slaves, the best deal as compared to the fate of most humans, i.e., being served up as entrées at lunchtime.
