How do I add foreign books?

I have several tatting books that are not in English (my only language.) These usually have great diagrams, so I can follow the patterns with very little problems. I do not know the author or title of these books (for example, Japanese books where things are not spelled out using the a,b,c's.) Many do not have ISBN numbers or bar codes. How do I add these books to my list of personal books?
