A robber broke into an apartment in Rome, and couldn't resist picking up the copy of The Gods at Six O'Clock Gli dèi alle sei by Giovanni Nucci on the table, which resulted in him being caught.

What a fantastic story this is, from the robber's behaviour to the reaction of the book's author... It's begging to be turned into a work of fiction.
