For the last couple of weeks, I've been trying to bulk import a CSV containing titles with no ISBN, and it seems to be failing continually. The Lookup Queue is empty (which makes sense with no ISBNs), and the books are not being added to our catalog.
We're a small genealogy library, and the books I'm trying to import are overwhelmingly self-published family histories. I've successfully bulk imported titles like this using a CSV before, but nothing I do seems to work now.
Help?

In the past week, there's been server issues with spammer attacks that have put some things on delay or stopped while the developers deal with things.
Since you've done it before, I'm not going to ask about if you used the right format, because you obviously have.

>1 nwmogenealogy: I switched all three sources for importing to Overcat and got a small batch yesterday. The first set failed with LOC and another library in my sources. Summer 2023 I had a lot of difficulty, and started to notice LOC was more finicky at night and on week-ends as a source, even though the web catalog was available.

>3 CtrSacredSciences: Thanks for the tip. I tried switching all three sources to Overcat like you suggested, but it didn't seem to have any effect. I suspect I'm going to be in "wait-and-see" mode for a bit.

Importing without an ISBN doesn't involve sources, does it?

>6 MarthaJeanne: I didn't think so, either, but I gave it a try on the off chance that it might work. It didn't... ;-)

I'm cleaning up some bugs, here, sorry for the delay.
>1 nwmogenealogy: It looks like your September 25 import finally came through successfully on October 6. I tried your September 20 import on one of my test accounts (here: https://www.librarything.com/catalog.php?tag=submitted+on+Dec+20+2024&view=k... ) and it seems to be going through as well.
I'm going to close this out as temporary import issues with our imports, but please start a new report if needed.
