So,
I'new here and just imported my goodreads books.
Sorry if already adressed, but couldn't find using the search engine.
While comparing Librarything with Goodreads collections (to see if everything was imported ok) I found that this book (there are more, this is one case):
My book: "Deus: Um Delírio", Richard Dawkins, ISBN13:9788535910704, ISBN10: 8535910700
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3574387-deus-um-del-rio
"Deus, um delírio./Dawkins, Richard
Was imported as this:
https://www.librarything.com/work/5024505/book/272394065

When looking at its editions:
https://www.librarything.com/work/5024505/editions/272394065

There are completely different books listed, and mine doesn't even show up (at a first glance, as only ISBN10 is listed.

So, why is "The Oxford Book of Modern Science Writing/Dawkins, Richard" mixed with "Deus, um delírio./Dawkins, Richard" editions?

Thanks.

BF

>1 BlackfoxDJ: Some copies of the two books had accidentally been combined together. It should be fixed now.

>1 BlackfoxDJ: It shares the ISBN with one of the editions Oxford Book of Modern Science Writing, so it was autocombined there. It doesn't help that your book imported ratty data from GR: title Dawkins , Richard author Dawkins Richard.

You can edit your data. When autocombiner misfires for whatever reason, you can separate by going to 'editions' and clicking separate where appropriate, then combine with the proper work. You can also always ask for help for combining/separating in Combiners group, but your own data only you can edit.
