I've been adding some comics to my catalog for the past 2-1/2 hours, and catalog search (which usually is pretty quickly up-to-date) can't find anything I entered even 2-1/2 hours ago. I'm guessing it's an indexing issue?

Confirmed. Looking into it. Probably won't be solved until tomorrow.

Should be caught up in around 2h.

New here. Out the fifty books I’ve entered so far it couldn’t find two of them. Found other books by the same authors, but not those. It came up with some interesting suggestions when I typed the name of the books and the authors - which I had do with a few as they were too old to have an ISBN.

>5 susan75: Hi, just to clarify: Are you saying you couldn't find books you wanted to add, or that, after adding books, you could not find those same books in your catalogue?

>5 susan75: This bug was about catalogue search. It sounds as though you are having trouble with finding a book in site search (books in LibraryThing) or Add books search. These are separate issues and unrelated.
If you cannot find a book in Add book search we might be able to help if you tell us what book you are searching for and what source(s) you tried. For older books it is a good idea to try Overcat, but to avoid Amazon. (Amazon's partners have a lot of really bad data.)
If you cannot find your title, there is a link to manual entry under the source list on the left side of the Add books page, so you can enter it yourself.
