>1 Fritz1234: Congratulations - you only joined today & you’re already done with Lyra’s & think that all lottery systems are rigged (i.e. criminal enterprises) - things can only get better !

>1 Fritz1234: What proofs do you have that the lottery system is rigged?
How can someone "feel" that a random selection from a form is biased?
The point of a lottery is to give equal chances to everybody.
Of course if there is a ratio of 20 registrations per available book your chances are quite low. Doesn't mean that the people who won the lottery got hand picked.
The question is, how easy is it to register multiple times to increase your chances unfairly?

You are in the wrong forum.
Lyra's books are usually discussed in the Fine Press Forum.

The lottery for The Alchemist? How do you know you have been unsuccessful?

Results for numbered edition only come out today and standard on Monday.

ETA: I was mistaken and numbered lottery results were yesterday :(
