Published book review / Reviewer field autofilling

Adding a Published Review to English books & readers, 1475 to 1557 from a newspaper without a named author, I left the Reviewer field blank, as the field is labelled as optional. The system, however, has repeatedly added an 'a' as the Reviewer.

The system did the same thing on a test Published Review I created on a different book.

The other optional fields behaved themselves. I am using Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge if it helps.

I've noticed that 'a' attached to reviews and wondered what it was!

I just tried one using macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 and Firefox 132.0.2 and the same thing happens.

You'll notice my name now shows as adding it because I just checked that the "a" shows back up when you delete. I will look at this shortly.

That's actually another thing that bothers me. When you edit a published review, the site shows you as adding it. That's wrong.

>4 lilithcat: I know, that is weird; it seems that the problem there is that we're actually adding a new row every time it's edited. That would be a bigger change.

Fixed the extra "a"

Sorry to raise this again, but something similar happening again.

I added a published review from the Gentleman's Magazine, Feb. 1779 to John Burgoyne, The school for scandal, adding the date as 1779-02. Unfortunately, it is displaying as 1, 1779.
