I contend that the 2024 presidential election was not a true American-type election. It was much more like a Russian-type orchestrated election. The AM radio hosts, podcasters, Musk via X and the prime-time FOX News hosts all purposefully fed the voters misinformation on a daily basis. The 24/7 repetition of that misinformation anchored it in voters' minds. Unfortunately, the nationwide results have given the above-mentioned entities a formula for winning all future presidential elections because their repetitive misinformation models are appealing to tens of millions of American adults.

I think you're confusing decaying legacy media with the rise of direct to consumer podcasting, substacks and a guardrail free X (Twitter). The misinformation of the past cycle (NY Post having the Hunter Laptop story muted on social media, Covid hysteria etc..) has created opportunities for Tucker's podcast, Elon Musk's influence in preserving free speech on X...etc..
With the recent news of Comcast's tossing left leaning and conspiracy laden MSNBC out the door, and desperate polls desperate to sway the election (Ann Selzer) I we finally have a course correction at hand.
Of course, the election of Trump once again as President, with a commanding win over a desperate party due for a scorched earth rebrand is merely icing on the cake..
