I noticed there's some discrepancies in how we display selected reading dates on the website versus the (iOS) App, and also how we display them once saved. I'm not sure if this is somehow related to the Android bug reported here: https://www.librarything.com/topic/343227
1. In the iOS App, edit a book and select a reading date from the calendar provided. The date is given a format of MM/DD/YYYY.
2. Select a reading date for one of your books on LibraryThing.com: the date format is YYYY-MM-DD.
3. When saving either date, the format goes to M/D/YYYY.
Example: a reading date of February 8, 2024, would display as: 02/08/2024 in the app, 2024-02-08 on the website, and 2/8/2024 once saved.
