Hi, I’m trying to remember the name of the book I read a long time ago. It’s about a little boy who is going through a set of trials/ a small competition to potentially get admitted to a school or program? This takes place in a town or village center. He may have a stuttering problem or a slight speech impediment I’m not sure. It is fantasy though, most likely epic fantasy. I don’t remember what the training was for. But I do remember a guardian/adopted father who guides him
