Hi! First time posting so I will keep this brief
•Read this book in the early 2000s. It was in my school library, and I read it I believe either my third or fourth grade year.
•I remember it took place like in non-modern times, probably around victorian
•A big factor was a rose, either a black rose or an osira rose, but I don't remember the purpose
•IT WAS NOT A ROMANCE, I would say more adventure or horror
•If I remember correctly, there was a scene of them getting attacked during the night.
•It was a children's to YA book, fairly easy to read. It was a chapter book.
