Children's Book for Young Girls - Collection of Stories about Multiple Sisters (Before/Around the early 2000s)

I read this book when I was younger so that would be between the years of 2005 and 2010, but it seemed more old-fashioned so I wouldn't be surprised if it was from the 90s or before. It was a heavily illustrated book and had a very cute, cottage-y feel to it. I think the cover had pink on it and the title was something short and generic like "Little Girls" in cursive-type font.

In the book, there were multiple young sisters (at least three or four but maybe more) who lived in a house together. No guardians that I can recall and I don't even know if that was acknowledged or just accepted. I remember it being a collection of stories without a clear plot narrative running through the whole thing but it may not actually be considered a collection because I can't remember if there were story headings or separations between the different tales.

One of the stories in the book involved one sister waking up before the rest and going ice skating by herself without telling anyone. There was some type of narrative in this story about a scary stray dog. When she was skating she fell through the ice and the stray dog saved her. It took her ages to get back to the house and all her sisters were worried. I remember there was an illustration of them getting ready for bed when they saw the dog out the window in the snow and went out to save it. They brought it inside and fed it warm milk and bread I think? I remember it looking like a German Shepard but I could be wrong.

Other plots included a picnic of some sort and there was a bunny around too. All the sisters had different duties and personalities partially based on age order and likes/dislikes, though it was a simple and older book so they were not well developed exactly. It wasn't very long as it was a children's book but it was thick for a kids book because of the illustrations and hardcover I think (at least my copy was).
