I'm Jim, 62, husband of 38 years, father of a son gainfully employed creating our robot overlords, who reads pretty much anything. We're in central Maryland with roots in Louisiana. I like to read (obviously), cook, trail bike ride/kayak with mrsdrneutron, and want to learn to fly fish and sail. There's probably bourbon somewhere in there too. Of course, LT is a big time sink, but mrsdrneutron seems to have come to terms with my LT addiction...
2BLBera
My name is Beth (BLBera) and I am a recently retired English instructor. I love retirement. I have been able to travel during the school year. In 2025, I plan to visit Scotland and Iceland. Besides travel and reading, I also like to sew and spend time with my granddaughter Scout.
I read eclectically, mostly fiction, but I do tend to always have a volume of poetry and a book of essays going as well. I belong to a book club that has been going since 2002, and I do group reads here on LT. Otherwise I don't plan my reading. I always resolve to read more from my shelves, but those shiny new library books do distract me.
I look forward to 2025 and my continued reading of the works of Shakespeare.

Hi, I am Robyn with a "y". It's my second year with the 75ers though I have been on LibraryThing since 2017, and I am looking forward to it. I read mostly science fiction and fantasy (although last year was mostly fantasy) with occasional forays into historical fiction. I'm a member of a smut book club reading adult fiction once or twice a month. I live in San Antonio, TX with my wife Raine, 3 dogs, and 3 cats.

Hi, my name is Jeff, I've been on LT for almost 18 years, and 2025 will be my 13th as a 75er. I came into this group reading mostly Science Fiction, but thanks to the many BBs presented by my fine friends of this group, my book reading world has been both broadened and increased immensely. In the group, I organize the yearly Secret Santa we do in the group, so expect me to hear from me about it in November.
I live in San Pedro, with my wife Laura, my soon to be 24 yr old daughter and 3 cats.
Here is my Q1 thread, stop on by, https://www.librarything.com/topic/366833#

Hi! My name is Krys. I found LibraryThing.com two days ago so I'm very new here. It sounds like loads of fun and I'm excited.
I'm a Miami, FL native in my late 30s and a Miami-Dade County Library cardholder since 1993 (thanks, Dad!). I live with my husband, two sons, two cats, and a Labrador retriever. I was quite the bookworm until 2016 when the chaos of early motherhood made reading for myself impossible. It wasn't until the pandemic that I realized books are my de-stressors and thus, quite necessary to my sanity.
I'm also taking part in the 2025 Category Challenge.

Hi all. My name is Gail, and I’ve been on LT since 2008, and in the 75’ers, much more on than off, since 2009.
Always been a book nerd, but also love painting and art journaling, doing word puzzles, and spending time at the beach. Origins from Massachusetts but now live on the west coast of Florida.
I participate in some group reads, in a very few challenges, and in book events on You Tube, but only as a poster, not as a content creator.

Hello again! I'm Emilie, a veterinary nurse who lives in Michigan. I spend my free time either reading or riding my horse. Most of my books are horse books, but I also read some romance, fiction, children's books, general non-fiction, and history. Some years I find a new genre and that becomes all I read. My 2025 thread is here!
