children's coming of age story about a shy girl who gains confidence

there's really nothing to go off of bc i read this as a child and don't remember it at ALL.

I remember there was a girl around middle-school aged who was pretty shy. i think she becomes invisible at some point? though i might be biased bc whenever i would search it up i got "the invisible life of addie larue" so i might've associated it with her becoming invisible when she doesn't actually. i don't think it's addie larue tho.

i think the girl's name did start with an A - maybe addison or alexa or something, i really don't know. i remember a specific scene where she runs home from the school bus and trips over a branch or something. the porch of her house is white idk why i remember that detail. there was also multiple scenes with horses (i think she was a horse caretaker or something). also i think at some point during the book this girl thought about how much cooler "Oh Sphinx of the Black Quartz, judge my vow" sounds compared to "the quick brown fox jumps over the rapid dog." but again, that might be something else from another book or movie or something (on second thought, that might've been alex meyers the youtuber, im not sure); my memory's very faulty.

the book had the same coming of age vibe as "because of winn-dixie" or "are you there god it's me margaret" (shy girl gets mentored by someone/thing (the horse? i think theres another human involved at some point in relation to the horse like maybe the owner of the horses?) and gains confidence). the book was written from the pov of the girl and the readers could see her internal thoughts/debates/concerns (3rd omniscient pov). also im pretty sure the girl was an only child and only had her mom in her life. they had as normal of a relationship as a mom and her insecure young girl could have. they lived near a forest or small grove of trees. the book took place in autumn/winter.

the book itself was pretty standard length i think around 200 pages like normal for a chapter book. the cover if i remember correctly was blue and showed the sky at night (so like a dark navy blue) with some stars or fireflies. i think the font was a pretty cursive yellow or white. altho again i might be biased bc that's pretty similar to the addie larue book cover lol

i read it when i was a child (around 8/9 ish), so around 2016-2019 (late 2010s). It seemed pretty new so I think it was written in the 2010s as well.

anything helps and tysm for thinking about it im SOOO curious as to what this book is and really want to re read it!!!

Long shot, but some of this overlaps with The Woman in the Wall by Patrice Kindl.
