Link to specific collection

(Let me start by saying that I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before, or if this is the wrong group for this kind of question. I did make a cursory look around before posting this and was unable to find my answer.)

Is there any way I can get an url (that I can send to a friend, for example) that links to a specific collection within my library?

As far as I can tell, the collection filter is set by cookies -- but this is unfortunate because I can definitely see myself wanting to email or post a link to specific collections.

Is there any way to do this? If not, may suggest it as a new (and fairly trivial to implement) feature?

Yes.

If you are looking at a collection in your library - scroll down to the bottom and in the left hand corner there is a little icon and the words "permanent link."

You can also use this if you have searched for a subset of your library by author or tag or what have you. You cannot create a permanent link if you are in "Power Edit" however.

Here is one for my "Favorites" collection:

Hey there is a cleaner way to do this.
The URL can be just

https://www.librarything.com/catalog/PortiaLong/favorites
