I enjoy all kinds and forms of fiction. I'm fascinated not just with story, but also with the art of fiction itself. I enjoy poetry, literary criticism, history of all kinds, cultural studies, psychology, art history, New England history, social history, women's studies, science, nature, ..and whatever else might catch my interest at any given time.

About Me

Longtime member of LT, once VERY active now somewhat less. I think my library tells you everything you need to know about me... except: I am wife to the best guy in the world, mother of three terrific now-adult children, and Nana to, not one, but three ADORABLE grandchildren!

As of 2019 I am self-declared "retired". I enjoy reading, and Ancestry.com . I also sew, quilt; and paint/paper walls, furniture and other things. I like to garden, play in the woods, sing made up songs and laugh out loud (as often as possible). I enjoy baking, travel, museums of all kinds...really this list is endless.

I'll note here that I originally created the groups Reading Globally, Club Read, and in mid-year 2007 a small private group called The Red Room* 2007(this is what this retired bookseller does!!!). There was several more groups I created which lasted for relatively shorter times compared with the previously mentioned group.
*Tim, master of LT, told me at a meet-up (maybe '08?) that the private group would not last more than two years or so. It's been going since June 2007....!!
