What can I say? Jamie/Claire, Brianna/Roger et. al. in America/Scotland/France.
The awesome historical fiction saga continues!
Some VERY interesting developments/complications happen and cliffhangers abound.
On to installment #8 in the series!

I've never read any of the author's other books - I came to this one particularly because my next novel will include "naughty bits." This book quite rightly pointed out that focusing on the emotion rather than the physical blow-by-blow (pun intended) will help such scenes avoid being cringe-worthy...but I was hoping for more than that. While I appreciated the extensive examples, most of them (like the rapes) were simply not what I was looking for.

DNF. I did not do that lightly - especially since I read the other reviews that promised a spectacular ending if I could just plod through. I made it to 55%, giving me the right to round up to finished but I just couldn’t. I’ve been reading so little just because I didn’t want to…life is too short. The heroine’s morality is inconsistent and annoying, the story line left me cold….nope.
