About My Library

For years I read a lot of DIY/self-help books, books on science, natural guides, etc. Lately I've been getting back into the fiction world, interested mostly in fantasy, historical novels, feminism, or books about travel or exploration. My library reflects that. I also have a sizable collection of movies, although I haven't watched many movies since having my son Finn in 2019 (unless you count Disney movies).

I love cooking/eating and anything else food-related. I have long-term goals to travel as much as possible. I'm an extroverted introvert, and I recharge by spending time outdoors, gardening, or snuggling with my pets. I have always loved reading fantasy and thriller novels—The Hobbit, Redwall series, and Stephen King may have had something to do with that.

I live in the Maine woods west of Portland, with my husband Chris, my rambunctious son Finn (short for Finnegan) and 2 kitties who are the best of friends: a 2-year old tuxedo cat (Shadow) and 1-year old torbie (Pepper).
