Hello to all. I have recently joined LibraryThing and I'm learning how to use it. I'm an indie author who has written two fiction books and translated them into Spanish. I have always been a book and library lover. If I could, I'd read books, drink tea or coffee and eat sponge cake, my mum called it pound cake, the long forgotten word used in Ireland in her time, they sold it by the pound. In Spain, it's bizcocho. Help a bloke out by leaving an honest review.

Anyway, I'm not a big social media person, but I'd like to have two to use and start adding books that I want to read and be a positive community member, not just promote my books.

Hello again. I like to read about various topics, that may be good or bad, knowing a little about a lot, but not mastering one topic. I like to write about people's interactions with each other, their vices and virtues. I prefer to hang out with my family, and I'm conscious of my surroundings and pay attention to small details.
