- About My Library
- Usually I only keep a book after reading it if I love, love, love it (or as I like to say, it becomes a part of me). What you see in my virtual library are those books, an embarrassing amount of books waiting to be read, and a few books from my classroom library which is far too extensive to even begin entering in earnest.
I also enjoy wasting time using the "Read but Unowned" category. I have been a chronicler since I was a kid and have pieced together some of my reading life pre-LibraryThing through photos, journals, and lists of books I read during my summer breaks as a child. It's been fun entering them here and seeing which ones I remember! - About Me
My profile pic is of me with my little reading helpers, Captain, Caprica, and Stellaluna, who have since crossed the rainbow bridge. They were all rescues.
I like reading most types of books, and the book club I've been a part of for 19 years helps me expand what I might choose on my own even further.
Last year I read 40 books. My hope this year is that I read 48, which is my age. I'm also attacking my TBR with the Monthly Key Word Challenge and the What's In A Name Challenge. If you want to see if I'm on track you can check my progress on this 50 Book Challenge thread.
I'm also participating in the Alphabet Challenge, 26 books each written by an author whose last name begins with a different letter of the alphabet. Follow my journey on this Alphabet Challenge thread.- Location
