Brian K. Vaughan, New York Times bestselling author, was born in 1976. He is a comic book and television writer, best known for the comic book series Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, Runaways, Pride of Baghdad, and Saga. Vaughan was also a writer, story editor and producer of the television series show more Lost. He is currently the showrunner and executive producer of the TV series Under the Dome. A new character, a lot of character deaths, great dialogue (as usual), deep, sometimes touching narration, completely uncensored...
BUT I sometimes feel like this series is just dragging on with no real purpose, like he could wrap it up satisfactorily in 2 or 3 comics, but why, when he can make it last 4 or 5 more graphic novels. It's kind of the same thing I felt with "Y the last man".
Either way, I'm sure I'll read as many as he puts out and have fun the whole time.

Luckily Mr. Vaughan's writing and Ms. Staples' creativity make this series much like the ex you just can't stop calling when you're lonely. The series still has that "complete artistic freedom" that it had from the beginning. So even though there is no sense that it will ever finish, it's still fun for a graphic novel booty call a couple times a year.
